Sandridge bridge revisited

Docklands, Melbourne
Australia

44.6° F (7° C)

It is only 5 minutes before 6... and it is pitch-dark. As I walk toward the Crown, I find myself drawn to Sandridge bridge... the place where I last witnessed the remains of what was once a monument to the people of Australia. Gazing through the lens... I realize... that it has become a monument of another sort: the fragility of serenity. It only takes ONE person to act on the impulse... the dark desire to destroy... pillage... and rob the innocence of our souls...
